Our Wines
Produced and bottled with minimal intervention between vine and wine
 
We offer 3 distinctive Sauvignon Blancs and an estate off-dry Riesling. Most of our fruit comes from our own vineyard, Muritai, in Blind River. The distinctive characteristics of the dryer, windy conditions found here, allied to the best vine care and creative winemaking, increasingly set our wines apart.

2009 release dates
We feel releasing our wines early makes the most of the bright, vivid, intense flavors Marlborough is famous for. Our 2009 Sauvignons were released September 2009 

ARONA Sauvignon Blanc 2009

ARONA is a Maori girl’s name meaning “colorful”.
Softer and instantly approachable. Ripe fruit flavors make an easy drinking and food friendly introduction to the Marlborough style.

Fruit is sourced from our Muritai vineyards and from 2 smaller vineyards in Blind River.
   
Alcohol Content: 13% by vol.
Res. Sugar: 5.3 g/L        pH: 3.30          TA: 7.7 g/L
ranga.ranga. Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Rangaranga is a Maori word for “gentle breeze”.
Fresh  and vibrant. Very intense, fruit filled, classic grapefruit and lime, with a little more elegance and a very long clean finish.

The 2009 wine is 100% Muritai fruit, but that was not our intent and it is likely to be blended in future years

Our single vineyard wine made from the best Muritai fruit. Unusual intensity and depth for a wine that is truly aromatic, with added minerality and a delicacy belying its power. 

Fruit: 100% Muritai estate

Alcohol Content:13.5% by vol.
Res. Sugar: 2.5 g/L         pH: 3.33       TA: 8.4 g/L

Our single vineyard grapes speak for themselves in a fruity off-dry Marlborough wine with a touch of spice.  Picked on flavor, hands-off winemaking delivers a true representation of our vineyard.

Fruit: 100% Muritai estate

Alcohol Content:10.5% by vol.
Res. Sugar: 18g/L         pH: 3.07         TA: 9.35g/L
