2008, our second vintage, was a good accolade year for us, with a #31 in a Top 100 Best Buys for the year, one of just 13 Gold Medals from 200+ Sauvignons at New Zealand's premier wine awards and three ratings of 89 points. If you're looking for accolades for the 2009s you will be waiting a little longer, until spring or summer 2010. We release our wines early (September 09 for the 2009s) because it makes the most of the bright, vivid, intense flavors Marlborough is famous for. We don't see why we folks in the Northern hemisphere should be made to wait. |
