Barkers Marque Wines from Marlborough, New Zealand are the kind of wines that enthusiasts are looking for from this land of discovery – clean, fresh, intense wines of the highest quality.

We make 3 very different Sauvignon Blancs (who says they all taste the same?) and a single estate Riesling at prices that everyone can afford.  Prices that you don’t expect from a family run, niche supplier.

Barker's Marque has one foot in New Zealand and one in the USA. It's run by two English brothers and their families.  Ed works in the USA - he lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Winemaker Simon, with his viticulturalist Kiwi wife Vanessa, manages and tends the family vineyard. They focus on making fresher and more mineral wines, true to their home in the Awatere Valley. 

The wines are attractively packaged, fun wines made with minimal intervention between vine and wine. They bring Texture, Balance and Subtlety to the  Intensity of the world famous Marlborough wines.
